Courage On Ice: Chapter VI

Get ready for some fun on the ice. We’ll have tip-ups and jigging poles, along with everything else you need for some hard water fishing. Our staff and volunteers will do all of the heavy lifting while you enjoy some fishing. Don’t worry, we’ll have ice shanties and heaters on site to maximize your comfort.

Location for this event is Teal Lake in Negaunee, MI.

  • We’ll be getting on the ice near the pumphouse at the intersection of US-41 and Teal Lake Ave. in Negaunee.

All equipment will be provided by Courage Incorporated, including heated ice shanties, poles, tip-ups, bait, and tackle. We’ll also have food & drinks to help keep you fueled up and reeling them in.
All costs will be covered by Courage Incorporated (even fishing licenses) making this a free event for the participant(s).

This event is open to any/all individuals with physical disabilities. To be considered, click the SIGN UP tab on the top of our webpage and fill out the form.

Participants should dress for the event ensuring they have a warm jacket, bibs/snowpants, boots, hats, gloves. These items are not provided by Courage Incorporated.

Transportation to and from the event is not provided and participants must be able to get themselves to and from the event location.

All events are at your own risk.  Pictures and video will be taken during the event.
